How to go
Bus 76, 288, 269 opposite S 11 bus stop.
This western cuisine is located in a coffee shop which is located at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4.
The menu is quite limited. Some of the items were sold out for example their recommended seafood croquettes, it was not available.
We ordered what we wanted and we were given a table waiting tag which has some fun facts about crabs.
What we ordered:
Baked crab au gratin
Crab Spaghetti
Fsh and chips
Chocolate brownie with ice cream
Baked crab au gratin – $4.50
The cheese layer was baked to very crisp and underlying that layer of cheese were thinly slices of crab meat. The smell of the cheese was not overbearing, in fact it tasted well with the sweetness of the crab.
Crab spaghetti – $7.50
The freshness of the crab was nicely blended with the tomato sauce, there was quite a bit of crab which was quite amazing as the cost of the price for the item was definitely worth it. Serving for this was not very big though.
Fish and Chips – $6.50
It was worth ordering this dish as the portion of this was big. I think it could be a dory fish battered with flour. The batter was not very thick, so you could really taste the texture of the fish. They also give tartar sauce to along.
Chocolate brownie with ice cream – $2.90
Our brownie was served with durian which was quite odd so we had it separated but nevertheless the brownie was rich and dense with a chocolatey taste.
Conclusion
The waiting time for each dish was not very long and when served to us it was pimping hot.
With neighborhood pricing like this, I would definitely patronize again. However, their menu items are quite limited so hence is better to call them up before making a trip down.
